About CADAM NGO

Our history, guiding principles, organizational values, and the leadership team driving our sustainable movement in Nilphamari.

Our Legacy

A History of Grassroots Movement Since 2002

CADAM was founded in 2002 in Nilphamari by a group of passionate and dedicated social reformers and workers who recognized the severe economic, educational, and public health disparities affecting rural communities. Under the strategic leadership of Mr. Jabedul Haque, this collective laid down an organized structure to uplift disadvantaged groups.

For over two decades, CADAM has transitioned from a small local initiative into a robust NGO driving deep social impact, offering financial inclusion via cooperative societies, and equipping hundreds of young men and women with future-ready vocational skills.

Nilphamari Focused

Operating exclusively in the grassroots villages of Sadar Upazila, Bahalipara, Saidpur, and Jaldhaka.

Community Governed

Directed by localized general assemblies ensuring programs perfectly adapt to village life requirements.

Our Vision

“CADAM envisages a society that is economically productive and equitable, environmentally sound, and genuinely democratic.”

Our Mission

“Enhancing an extensive, intensive, and participatory process of sustainable development through the empowerment of the poor, by building capacity, offering resource support, and boosting financial networks.”

Operational Standards

The Values That Guide Our Movement

These fundamental principles inform every program we construct, every policy we implement, and every relationship we establish in Nilphamari.

Pro-Poor Focus

Placing the rights and upliftment of the most marginalized and impoverished rural families at the center of all operations.

Gender-Sensitive

Promoting equality and actively involving women in leadership, training, and economic independent activities.

Resource-Sensitive

Utilizing financial, human, and environmental assets efficiently to extract maximum long-term community value.

Mutually Respectful

Fostering collaboration by building genuine respect between NGO workers, donors, and the local beneficiaries.

Accountable & Transparent

Enforcing absolute transparency, reporting, and ethical governance across all field branches and cooperatives.

Pro-Environment

Integrating climate-resilience, safe water solutions, and clean hygiene campaigns in every community sector.
